Series "7 deadly sins" Sold

The seven deadly sins are the estrangement of the human soul from God - the death of the soul.
Without a gracious connection with its Creator, the soul becomes dead, unable to experience spiritual joy neither in the earthly life of man, nor in its posthumous existence.
It is important to remember the terrible danger, which any such sin holds in itself, and to try to avoid these deadly traps in every possible way.
It is also important to know that even for those who have sinned in this way, the possibility of salvation remains.

Sin Despondency
Despondency refers to mortal sins.
Mortal sin brings a person's soul into a state of spiritual death, when the opportunity to repent and change his life is lost. Sadness and despondency are very close to despair and suicide, they are links in the same chain.
Modern life is permeated through and through with the stench of despondency. Look how many people are depressed now!
A person in a relatively comfortable life is in idleness, she is the mother of many sins and vices. In the spiritual realm, one thing flows from the other: one sin pulls others along with it.

Sin - Greed
The mortal sin of greed or avarice is one of the most common human passions. What does it mean in relation to material goods and money, namely, in a painful desire to possess them.
The most pernicious of passions is greed, for it makes a person unreasonable, makes him abandon the reliable and rush after the unreliable.

Sin - Pride (Saporbia)
Pride is a smug pleasure in one's own merits, real or imaginary. Once possessed, it cuts off a person first from people he does not know, then from his family and friends. And finally, from God himself.
No one is needed for a proud person, even the delight of others does not interest him, and only in himself he sees the source of his own happiness. But like any sin, pride does not bring real joy.
Inward opposition to everything and everything dries up the soul of a proud man; self-conceit, like a crust, covers it with a rough shell, under which it becomes dead and incapable of love, friendship and even simple sincere communication.

Sin Envy - Invidia
The 7 Deadly Sins, or How Many Passions Can Really Destroy Us
"Envy is sorrow because of the well-being of a neighbor, which seeks not good for itself, but evil for its neighbor. The envious would like to see the glorious as dishonored, the rich as miserable, the happy as miserable. This is the purpose of envy - to see the envious one fall from happiness into misery."

This arrangement of the human heart becomes the launching pad for the worst crimes. And also a countless number of large and small mischiefs that people do just to make the other person feel bad or at least stop being good.

But even if the beast does not get out in the form of a crime or a specific deed, would it make the envious person feel better? After all, in the end, he will simply drive himself into the grave prematurely with such a terrible worldview, but even death will not stop his suffering. For after death, envy will torment his soul with even greater force, but without the slightest hope of quenching it.

Sin of Gluttony (Gula)
The Sin of Gluttony (Gula)
Gluttony is slavery to one's own stomach. It can manifest itself not only in insane gluttony at the festive table, but also in culinary discernment, in the subtle discernment of flavors, in the preference for refined dishes over simple foods.
In terms of culture, there is a chasm between the coarse glutton and the refined gourmand. But both are slaves to their eating behavior.
For both, food is no longer a means of keeping the body alive, but a desire for the life of the soul.

Sin Anger (Ira)
Man in anger is fearful. And yet anger is a natural property of the human soul, invested in it by God for the rejection of all that is sinful and improper. This useful anger has been perverted in man by sin and has turned into anger at fellow human beings, sometimes for the most insignificant reasons. Insulting others, cursing, insulting, shouting, fighting, killing are all acts of unrighteous anger.

Sin - Fornication (Luxuria)
The 7 Deadly Sins, or How Many Passions Can Really Ruin Us
"...the mind is more and more filled with pictures of voluptuousness, sordid, burning and seductive.
The power and poisonous scent of these images, enchanting and disgraceful, are such that they displace from the soul of all the lofty thoughts and desires that were captivating before. It often happens that a person is no longer able to think about anything else: he fully owned by the demon of passion.
This is the state of an animal or, rather, worse than an animal, because animals do not reach that depravity, to which man reaches.
The sin of fornication includes all manifestations of human sexual activity contrary to the natural way they are carried out in marriage. A promiscuous sexual life, adultery, all kinds of perversions, are all different kinds of manifestations of the fornication passion in man. But although it is a bodily passion, its origins lie in the realm of the mind and imagination. That is why the Church considers obscene dreams, viewing pornographic and erotic materials, telling and listening to obscene jokes and anecdotes to be fornication, all those things that can excite in a person fantasies about sexual themes, from which then grow the bodily sins of fornication.
