Mountains are nature and emotion "The shapes of nature speak to me in terms of human emotion. Nature frees me from experience. Looking at the scenery, I realize that I’m concentrating on what is to me the Spirit, the Soul and Genesis. I design my mountain landscapes in the way I understand their philosophies, and my art is an expression of my conception of nature. When I choose a composition, I sacrifice detail to improve the overall effect. I’m not a believer in a realistic representation of nature; it gives me the freedom to experiment with form, design, and color. I use acrylic paint of the highest quality, all the artwork is painted on a German linen canvas with double primer, attached by a layer of varnish for durability."
