Owls - in memory of my father!

This series of artworks is dedicated to the memory of my father who was very fond of birds, especially owls.
The owl is an ambivalent symbol. It is a bird of wisdom, but also of darkness and death. Owls have the ability to see at night, to see everything around them without moving but only by turning their head, they have a wise discerning eye.
All 8 artworks are made on special painting paper, I used a mixed technique of acrylic and oil pastel, Size 29,5 by 40 cm.
